Hi everyone!!

Wow I can't believe that I have been in missions for one year. Looking back, what I see is a great God that has been doing great things!!

Some highlights from this year are: God really put in my heart the prostitutes ministry after we work with them. For first time, We gave them flowers and ask if they would like us to pray for them. They were open and needed. It was amazing to see how God can transform people's life and set them free.
A whole year serving the homeless in San Jose down town teach me how to value those people. We build relationship with them and now we are able to see how some of them are changing their life. That's it gratifying for me!

Since January I've been hosting short term mission teams. For me to be able to serve and get to know people from different countries and cultures is a huge blessing.
Something that really impacts my life is to see how foreigners come to my country, They serve us without expecting anything from us! That not only impacts my life but it has been something that has impacted the community also.

After this busy season, I had a short time of rest. I went to visit my niece, grandma and great-grandma and at the end took a few days with the Pavely's (a family I work with) to the beach! I felt such love spending time with my family and the Pavely's. It was a refreshing time.

Soon, three groups are coming to do their outreaches here. So, for all of December and January I will be hosting and ministering with them! We will be feeding the homeless, working with children, serving communities and much more.
I am also working doing the communication with the teams that are coming next year, we already have ten teams confirmed for spring and summer time! This make me so excited! God is doing something here in Costa Rica and I am glad that I am part of it!!

I have some pray request that I would like to share:
My non christian friends
I want to study this coming year so that God can give me compromise to finish!
To be able to serve the people of Costa Rica and the teams with all my heart.

Ensenada training

A few days ago I came back from Ensenada, What a good time!
Since the first day that I got there God blessed me in so many ways, the peop
le, the food, the worship times, everything was a blessing and today here in Costa Rica I feel joy in my life and ready to serve God here!
I learned so many things about Mission Adventures, that was the reason why I went there, in addition to what I learned, God really spoke to my life, He showed me so many things that He wants to make better in my life.

Sometimes here in Costa Rica I am so busy working with teams that i don't realize that I am not spending time with God, so in Ensenada I felt challenged to look up and have time with my creator and He started to teach me in little things and He also began to help me seeing what He is doing in my life and that I have to praise Him in everything that He is giving me.
I feel during my time
there that He was working in my heart to have a heart for the youth. I had the chance to meet kids from the first cycle that impacted my life just seeing how their life can change in a Mission trip.
Now I am getting ready for the next months, I want to start Mission Adventures Costa Rica! the whole program here! I have to pray and get ready, I know that God is doing something and I am not gonna miss it!!
I left a lot of friends, it is not easy, but is good to know that they are in the place that God wants them to be and I am here doing what He wants me to do also!

I ask for your prayers and if you want to be part of MA Costa Rica pray about it and let me know!!

My first time...

In January I hosted a team from Ensenada Baja California, the director of the base was here and He invited me to do a Mission Adventures training in June. I say yes. I week ago I talk to Him, and we where looking for plane tickets but all of them were so expensive.
By the way...I never been in a airplane :0) . So Two days ago God bless me, Spenser help me out to buy a ticket and my parents give the rest of the money and I will go to Baja and is gonna be the first time for me in a plane!! It's cool how God take care of everything and sometimes I really get stress for my staffs and I forget the God that I have!
Now I am ready to learn and serve in Mexico for two weeks!!!

Great but sad end!!

We made it!! Marc Scibilia came to Costa Rica, we did four shows, He is just a amazing singer, God really bless us through him, He came with two more people, Justin and Phill (sound guy and bass player). I can't describe how beautifull is been working with them and be part of something new, fresh, cool and awasome for the glory of God and seeing God moving in the concerts. Everything happen because the team from Switzerland pray and plan it as part of their outright (for the last week).
Now they went away and it's so sad, but what I really know is that God did crazy things through them in Costa Rica and He give me the opportunity to get to know 12 cool people that will stay in my heart, now is time to go for them, finish their DTS in Switzerland and go back home.
Me, I would stay hosting more and more teams and knowing that God is using me to bring change in my country through the Missionaries that come and serve Him here!
I ask your your prayers, I love what am I doing but it's hard for me to say good bye over and over to people that I really love!
You guys are in my heart

While speaking with a friend about my next step, a question came to my mind... where am I?? And, the truth is that I'm in the place that God wants me to be. As some of you know, I would like to do the photography school in Kona, Hawaii, which begins in January, 2010. I have been praying and fasting to hear God's voice and, though it seems difficult at times to have the faith that the finances will come in, I know that nothing is impossible for Him. Almost a year ago, God confirmed with me that the focus of Photography is His calling upon my life. I am writing you to ask for your prayers for doors to be opened for me, that the timing will be right and, that I will be able to do the school which God has made me passionate for. Thank you, and I pray God's blessings in your life.

Abrazos!!
